About Mrs. Krijgsman

Hello! I am Mrs. Anndrea Krijgsman but students and parents can feel free to call me Mrs. K, Señora Krijgsman, or Maestra Krijgsman. I 'm returning to Temecula Preparatory School after having worked here at the end of last school year as the long term Upper School Spanish Substitute Teacher. My time last school year allowed me to fall in love with the students at TPS, build amazing relationships with staff members, and come to stand behind the TPS mission in creating life-long learners.

This is my first year as a teacher and I'm currently in graduate school in pursuit of my Masters Degree. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Cal Baptist University in Sociology. Prior to attending Cal Baptist University, I was a part of the first graduating class at Great Oak High School and have been a Temecula Valley local for most of my life. Throuhgout my time in high school was when I fell in love with the language of Spanish and was able to learn not just the language, but the history behind the Spanish speaking countries. I am also a heritage Spanish speaker and grew up bilingual as most of my family originates from Mexico.

Last year while at TPS, I served as the Head Varsity Softball coach for the Upper School and was named the league coach of the year for the 2022 season. I am a huge sports fan, a major Disney lover, and love to share laughs with my students.

I'm so excited to be a small part in your student's learning journey at Temecula Prep and look forward to getting to know you all!
